If you’re going to be a first year student studying nursing, midwifery or operating department practice at our Cambridge campus, you can apply to live in Harston House at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Harston House has 72 bedrooms available for ARU students, which are arranged in corridors of 11-13 rooms.

Lots of bus routes stop at Addenbrooke’s, including a Park and Ride service. This is a good way to get to campus – journey times are about 30 minutes. Some buses go to Cambridge railway station (less than two miles away) which has regular trains to London King’s Cross.

Hinchingbrooke Hospital

If you're going to be studying nursing, midwifery or operating department practice and have a placement at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, you can apply to live in Alexandra House on the hospital site.

You’ll live with other students and NHS professionals in a four-bedroom flat.
