All our international students need a visa to study in the UK, though there are currently some exceptions for EU and EEA students.
New immigration rules came into effect on 5 October 2020.
You do not need a visa if you're coming from European Union (EU) or European Economic Association (EEA) countries and arrive in the UK by 31 December 2020.
If you are planning to arrive in the UK on or after 1 January 2021, you will first need to have applied for a student visa.
EU and EEA students who arrive in the UK up until 31 December 2020 can apply for pre-settled or settled status. It's free and you have until 30 June 2021 to apply.
Please see our information for EU students for more details.
As your sponsor we will issue the necessary documentation to assist you in obtaining your visa to study in the UK. This page will highlight the most important parts you need to know about visas and immigration.
The rules around student visas will be changing from summer 2021. Read more about the new graduate immigration route.
