If you’re studying with us in Writtle and you're over 18, you’ll have the option to live in halls on campus or in private accommodation.
In Writtle, we have 382 rooms available in 14 halls of residence set in beautiful gardens on the main campus.
The halls are close to amenities such as cafes and restaurants, the Students' Union, recreation and fitness centre, campus library, study hub, computer suites and laundry facilities.
Our accommodation is available to further and higher education students aged 18 and over.
Writtle students would not normally reside at ARU Chelmsford. Accommodation will normally be allocated at the campus you are studying at. But, if no accommodation is available, you may be able to apply for a room at a nearby campus or seek accommodation in the private sector at a commutable location such as Colchester.
