World-class facilities

You'll benefit from outstanding facilities at ARU and ongoing investment on all four of our campuses: Cambridge, Chelmsford, Peterborough and Writtle.

Teaching and learning spaces

We’re home to students of medicine and healthcare, business, art and design, psychology, computing, agriculture and much more.

As you’d expect, our campuses house an array of specialist facilities.

Study spaces and campus libraries

All our campuses have libraries where you can access extensive collections of materials relevant to your course.

There are plenty of study spaces in our libraries and elsewhere on campus, including open-access computer areas, group work zones, and silent study areas.

Shared, social and quiet spaces

Visit our campus pages to find out more about places to eat, drink, relax and socialise. This includes details of quiet spaces and wellbeing spaces.

We offer an exciting programme of social sport on all four campuses, and you’ll also find campus gyms in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Writtle.

There’s also a range of student services including Students’ Union spaces, health and wellbeing support, chaplaincy or multi-faith rooms, employability and careers services, and accommodation offices.
