Sedley Court

Sedley Court is a 20-minute walk from the campus, or a quick seven-minute cycle down Mill Road – a popular area for Cambridge students thanks to its fantastic range of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

There are 150 en-suite rooms split into 30 flats. Sedley Court is owned and managed by Peabody, who are on hand to help from the on-site office Monday–Saturday, and have Residential Assistants on-call outside of office hours.

Before you move in

You’ll be asked to pay £350 to book your room. This is refundable at the end of your tenancy if you don’t owe money for repairs or rent. You’ll also be asked to pay six weeks’ rent before your contract starts.

Rent

You can choose how you pay your rent:

  1. One instalment due in October (plus the first six weeks' rent paid before your contract starts)
  2. Three instalments in October, January and April (plus the first six weeks' rent paid before your contract starts)
  3. Seven instalments, paid monthly from October until April (plus the first six weeks' rent paid before your contract starts).

Once you've applied, we'll send your details to Peabody, who own and manage Sedley Court. They will arrange for you to pay any upfront costs and sign your tenancy agreement.
