Short-term accommodation

Our accommodation in Cambridge and Chelmsford is just a short walk from the city centres, and you can stay with us from one night up to six weeks.

In Cambridge, Anastasia House offers guest rooms on the lower ground floor (step access), facing the main University entrance on East Road. You’ll share a kitchen with some of our students.

In Chelmsford, our Student Village is on campus. The guest rooms here are alongside student rooms, and you’ll share a kitchen with other guests.

Full-time students can stay in Anastasia House from one night up to six weeks. If you’re not a student or you study part-time, you can stay from one night up to four weeks.

In all our properties, you can check in from 3pm. Check out is by 10am.

• Security – CCTV and 24-hour campus security
• En suite – all rooms have their own shower, sink and toilet
• Free wi-fi
• Bicycles – sheltered storage is available
• Laundry – there are launderettes available nearby
• Cleaning – we'll empty kitchen bins and clean work surfaces at least once a week. We'll ask you to clean your room and en suite, and clean up after yourself if you use the shared kitchen
• Bedding and towels – Anastasia House and the Student Village come with bedding and towels.
• Parking – unfortunately, there is no parking available

With our guest flats, you'll have access to a shared kitchen space featuring:

Chelmsford

Full-time students can stay for a minimum of one night up to a maximum of six weeks. If you're not a student or you study part-time, you can stay from one night up to four weeks.

Full-time student rates

• Nightly: £31
• Weekly: £169.54 (including bedding and towels changed weekly)

These prices exclude VAT. VAT will be added to these prices for part-time students and non-students.

Terms and conditions

Please allow at least 24 hours between submitting a booking form and arriving to collect keys. Bookings must be made in office hours; bookings at the weekend will not be available without advance notice. No booking is confirmed until we have contacted you in writing.

We allocate rooms on a first come, first served basis and give priority to full-time ARU students.
