InPlace at ARU

We’re introducing a new online placement system called InPlace at ARU for all our placement programmes across the University.

We have listened to feedback from practice partners, students and our staff and are investing in a new placement management system to enhance our interface between clinical staff and students around placement related activity.

We strongly believe that implementing this new system, which can be accessed on any device, demonstrates our commitment to improve and enhance this important area of our operation and we will be working closely with you and your teams, as we implement it.

:We are looking to launch InPlace for Pre-registration Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health programmes in November 2023 and have undertaken a series of training sessions for practice learning partners.

Our Placement Systems Lead will be available every Wednesday to offer help and support via Microsoft Teams. To book a slot, or for any other queries, please email [email protected]

Post-launch drop-in sessions

Post-launch, we are also offering drop-in sessions for InPlace and ePad. There's no need to book - simply click the relevant link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting when your preferred session is taking place.

Resources

Please see below the resources that we have created so far. More will be added on this space as we move towards launch.

Notification of Change (NoC) forms

For certain areas of clinical education audit activity, you may need to complete and submit a Notification of Change form. There are three NoC forms:

Please ensure that you have obtained permission to compete these forms from your organisation education lead/team. All changes will need to be agreed and confirmed by the Senior Education Lead before submission.

All changes requested through the above forms will be monitored and reviewed at our Practice Education Committee meetings with our practice learning partners.
