Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Wellbeing workshops

Attend our sessions early to understand how to manage any negative thoughts or feelings. Our workshops will help give you the confidence and skills to succeed in your studies.

Please note that all our workshops are available online to core students, no matter which campus you study on.

Workshops from ARU and CPSL Mind

ARU is working with the local mental health charity CPSL Mind to bring you weekly wellbeing sessions.

These sessions include:

Online Calm Spaces

Somewhere to go if you need a bit of space and tranquillity. These online sessions offer a place to find guidance on self-help techniques which can help you to ‘ground yourself’ and feel better- both in that moment and in the future. Each week covers a different theme and offers techniques to manage wellbeing.

Cambridge and Peterborough Good Mood Cafes

Provide an opportunity to meet new people, share interests, skills and wellbeing tips in an informal space to help boost your mood. It’s OK not to be OK, so you don’t have to be in a good mood to come along to a Good Mood cafe – but we hope everyone will leave feeling better than when they arrived. Each week provides a different activity to engage in.
