It is essential that students have a thorough induction into your organisation so that they make the most of the learning opportunities available to them as soon as possible.

Many organisations have their own comprehensive induction procedures, but some may find it useful to use the template below.

Some agencies also find it helpful to ask the student social worker to review their induction programme at the end of the placement, to support the next student who will be placed with them.
