As an apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to apply for ARU Writtle accommodation during your course. This accommodation will be available to you for three weeks at a time, and the rest of your course will be vocational learning.
You'll be assigned a dedicated section of accommodation (under-18s will be grouped together, separately from those over 18). No more than 23 apprentice students will be living in the hall.
Each flat has a shared kitchen and bathroom that no more than six students will be able to use. You'll have access to dedicated Residential Student Support Officers (RSSOs), who are there to support you throughout your stay.
Once you’ve firmly accepted, you will be sent an accommodation application form via email.
Catering facilities: you'll have a daily credit prepaid onto your student ID card, which you may use to pay towards meals in the onsite catering outlets. You'll also have access to a shared kitchen.
You can arrive at the campus between 2pm and 4pm on the Sunday before your start date to collect your keys and move in.
We'll give a welcome talk to you and your parents, where you'll hear about activities you can take part in during your stay.
