Dr Margaret Wilson is an NLE who was an NPQH tutor and assessor. She has been headteacher and executive head of two large 11-18 schools in London and Essex moving The King John School to outstanding. She has a strong track record in supporting schools in challenging circumstances and was an adviser to the DfE’s academies division seconded for 2 days a week during a 3 year period. Margaret is also executive head of The James Hornsby School in Essex. She was also a member of the Regional Steering Group and has been a non-executive director of Pearson Education Ltd for 8 years and is a board member of Anglia Ruskin University. Margaret is the CEO of Zenith Multi Academy Trust of which The King John School and The James Hornsby school are part of. Margaret was recently honoured with a CBE in the New Year’s Honours.
Margaret is Deputy Chair of the Board of Governors at Anglia Ruskin University.
