Dr Pi-Chi Chen is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law at ARU. She holds various responsibilities within the faculty, including serving as the Course Director, Module Leader, School Research Ethics Panel member, and as a reviewer and examiner for postgraduate research students.

With a decade of experience in UK Higher Education, Pi-Chi brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to her role. Prior to joining ARU, she was a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader at the University of Greenwich Business School. Before her academic career, Pi-Chi honed her skills as a stockbroker in the City of London, specialising in Asia-Pacific equity markets.

Pi-Chi’s scholarly pursuits focus on international business and strategy. She has contributed significantly to the field with notable publications such as US Firms' Business Competence in the Taiwanese IT Industry (Springer, 2016) and Examining Strategy Diversity and Interdependence in MNC's Subsidiaries and Their Functional Activities (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013). Her recent research endeavours delve into regional studies and global business dynamics, exemplified by her publication The Digitization of Business in China (Palgrave, 2018).

Pi-Chi is deeply committed to fostering equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), especially for students from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about cultivating an inclusive culture that celebrates equality and embraces diversity, nurturing a supportive working, learning, and social environment for all staff and students.
