John Keddie was formerly Vice-President, Global Operations for GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world’s largest health care companies, managing over 40 sites across four continents. He has worked internationally for over 25 years and has experience of managing R&D and business operations in over 30 countries. A scientist by background, John has a BSc (First Class Hons) in Biology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, a PhD from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from the Open University.
Since leaving GSK, John has set up a property development business, and is Chair of the Harlow Enterprise Zone; Chair of the Discover Harlow Board and Deputy Chair of the London Stansted Cambridge Consortium. John recently joined the Board of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust as a Non-Executive Director.
John is a regular visitor to the gym, enjoys cooking and wine, and spends most of his time looking after his two young daughters.
