After graduation

Urdang Academy graduates’ destinations demonstrate the strength and range of student employability, with students gaining leading roles in the West End, UK tours and international theatre; in high-profile commercial entertainment; on cruise ships and in dance companies; and in film and television work. Strong outcomes have been driven by a culture at the college of continuous changes and improvements to reflect industry requirements.

Currently, Urdang graduates are working in West End Productions including Les Miserables, Thriller Live, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, Guys & Dolls, Funny Girl, Beautiful, In The Heights, The Lion King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sunny Afternoon: The Kinks Musical. Graduates have also successfully gone on to Masters degrees and PhD study.

Modules & assessment


Our assessment methods mirror the combination of practice and theory you’ll encounter on the course. There is a significant amount of practical skills and performance assessment across dance techniques, singing, acting and musical theatre. This is underpinned by a range of written assignments and examinations in our strand of critical skills modules.
