We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.

Here at Cambridge School of Creative Industries, you'll gain the skills and knowledge you need to create the games of tomorrow.

During your studies, you could get hands-on experience at a company such as ARM, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Frontier and Just Flight, and team up with major studio reps and fellow students for special projects.

Take advantage of the expertise of our experienced staff, cutting-edge facilities, and industry connections and you'll graduate ready for an exciting career in the gaming industry. You'll also develop skills such as film and television production, marketing and web design, which you can put to use in the gaming sector and elsewhere.

Computer games facilities and support

Study Computer Games Art or Technology and:

  • use the latest software and hardware including GameMaker, 3DGameStudio, Unreal Tournament 3 Editor, Adobe Flash and Action Script, Java and C++, Microsoft XNA Game Studio, Visual C# Express, Microsoft Visual Studio, Photoshop, GIMP, 3ds Max, Blender, Fusion, Audacity, Second Life and Unity3D
  • access our motion capture equipment and an arsenal of HD cameras and Digital SLRs (for HDRI capture)
  • put your new skills into practice with companies like Sony, Sumo Digital, Jagex and Frontier, and with industry reps at events such as Brains Eden
