A CAS - Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies - is a unique 14-digit alpha-numeric reference number and information that you’ll need to complete your visa application form.
The earliest you can apply for your Tier 4 Student visa is three months before the start date of your course, so this is when we start issuing CAS. We recommend you obtain your CAS and apply for your visa as early as you can, as there can be delays at the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) in assessing your application and issuing your visa.
We set final CAS issuing deadlines, using information provided by the UKVI on visa turnaround times, so our students have the best chance of arriving on time.
Our final CAS issuing deadlines for students joining in September 2019 are:
Undergraduate, Master’s and Postgraduate Research students: Friday 30 August 2019
Legal Practice Course students: Friday 16 August 2019
If you have any questions about your CAS or visa application, or you can’t make the deadline and would like to be considered for the next intake, please email International admissions or call +44 1245 683680.
