ARU Student Ambassador Komal

Faculty:Science and Engineering

School:Life Sciences

Course: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

My name is Komal and I’m a Bachelors student at ARU studying Biomedical Science.

I started my degree in September 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, so I was scared to move into student accommodation in Cambridge. Because most of the course was online, I decided to study from home, and I used to commute once a week for my face-to-face practical sessions.

Since everything is coming back to normal, I am enjoying studying and socialising at ARU. The modules I’ve experienced have been varied and relevant to where I want my future to take me. The lectures are interesting and always contain new and modern theories and concepts to learn, which keeps the course fresh and never boring.
