I never imagined that I would enjoy studying this much, all thanks to my amazing friends and the outstanding facilities that ARU provides to students - including the SuperLab in Cambridge.

Being a Biomedical Science student, I spend most of my time in the SuperLab at the Science Centre in Cambridge and as the name suggests, it is a huge lab where around 200 students can do their practical. This is also where we are taught a lot of laboratory skills. I really enjoy the atmosphere in the laboratory.

As you can see in the picture, I found my soulmate in the laboratory!

And obviously, that satisfaction I get after getting the results right can’t be explained.

I also really like to sit and study in the library. There are different areas according to your preferences. I usually study on the third floor (quite area), it is a very quiet and cosy area with thousands of books around which gives me motivation to study and do my assignments. If I’m with my friends then we prefer the second floor (the whisper area), so we can study together. The library also has a huge online collection of e-journals, e-books, and databases, and they’re all available 24/7.

I often go to the student lounge area with my friends, where we like to eat and chat. The open access area is another place to socialise and study. It is a large area with lots of computers, where students study and have fun around.

I have used the health and wellbeing and careers and employability services, which has helped me in enhancing my personality and the employability advisors gave me amazing tips to enhance my CV.

Overall, I really enjoy being on campus and all the facilities that I've used have helped me a lot.
