Careers support for college students
At Writtle College, our aim is to empower you to make independent, informed choices for your future career.
We offer a bespoke careers guidance service to all our students, which includes:
- careers education and career development planning
- careers advice to support decisions around 'what next', progression and future plans
- advice to support UCAS applications
- CV help through individual careers appointments (in person, or online)
- support for job search and applications, combined with help preparing for job interviews
- specialist knowledge of the land-based sector and the industries we serve
- employer presentations, events and panel
- career and job opportunity fairs
- careers pages on the student intranet (login required)
- pre-application careers guidance at open events throughout the year.
When you join Writtle College, you'll be able to book appointments with our team, or drop in to visit the Careers Office in the Careers Office in the FE Hub.
We have a number of staff involved with our careers programme and each are responsible for their own strand.
