The world of business never stands still and our BSc (Hons) Finance with Economics degree course is no different. Taking real world challenges as our starting point, there is a major focus on practical, hands-on learning to get you set up for a career in business.

We work with employers to make sure you graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities you will need. They help us review what we teach and how we teach it – and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships or placements.

This degree course will open the doors to a wide range of careers in the business sector and gives you the theoretical and practical knowledge you’ll need to work in finance or economics.

You may find yourself working in a global corporation, a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) or even for yourself – it’s not unusual for company CEOs to have started off from an accounting or finance background.

Graduation doesn’t need to be the end of your time with us, of course. You might decide to stay at ARU and study for a Masters, such as our renowned Master of Business Administration MBA or our new MBA Finance. Take advantage of our Alumni Scholarship and get 20% off your fees.

“One of the most memorable experiences was when the Finance Society created our own investment strategy. We created an investment calculation, our own equation. It was the most incredible eureka moment. Now we just have to see if it works!”
