As a university student, you'll be busy but a little time spent on your own wellbeing is likely to make you feel happier, more positive and able to get the most from life.
Here at ARU we have a number of ways you can do that.
All of these resources and workshops can be accessed through our student intranet, My ARU. You'll be able to visit My ARU once you join us as a student.
Simple everyday activities to help you flourish.
Our free online workshops can help you understand how to manage your thoughts and feeling, and succeed in your studies.
Designed to help you build resilience and develop positive feelings, the Feeling Good app offers positive mental training audio programmes that you can complete anytime, anywhere.
SilverCloud is an online program to help manage stress, anxiety and depression. As a student here you can access it at any time. It will help you understand how you're feeling and give ideas on how to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Hosted by ARU students, the 'Talking about' podcast offers a safe space for students to openly discuss topics of mental health and wellbeing, alongside ARU counsellors and external professionals.
Our self-help leaflets and videos can give you the information you need to tackle problems. They cover topics from sleep and resilience, to loneliness and coping with anxiety.
