Careers and employability

You can access a range of careers and employability services while you study with us, and after you graduate. Many of our courses offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience through industry projects, internships and placements.

Study skills

Our Study Skills Plus programme is open to all students, and can help with aspects of university study including academic writing, research and referencing.

We also offer information, advice and specialist support to students with disabilities.

Our specialist facilities range from healthcare skills labs and engineering workshops, to a dedicated Science Centre and industry-standard creative spaces. Our library, IT and campus facilities also see sustained investment.

Students' Union

The ARU Students' Union is here to make sure you get the most out of your degree, while having an amazing time. It looks after more than 100 student-led societies which offer a great opportunity to get involved and make friends.
