Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity

Overseen by Dr Francesca Cavallerio, member of ARU Athena Swan committee.

We recognise the diverse student (and staff) population within Sport and Exercise Sciences. As such, in selecting keynote speakers, chairs and student co-chairs for this conference, we will ensure this diversity is reflected.

All rooms used for the conference are fitted with hearing aid loops, as well as high resolution screen projectors and PC based stations. Where possible, live captions will be used alongside keynote presentations to support those hard of hearing.

Whilst we have planned to maximise the use of ground floor rooming, where rooms are required above ground floor, they will be wheelchair accessible; rooms can be accessed either through two main staircases or a large elevator.

See our equality, diversity and inclusion at ARU page for further information.
