ARU and CFCC Cambridge Academy's Visiting Scholar Programme offers scholars from China the opportunity to work in the UK for 6-12 months, engaging with ARU’s extensive academic resources and networks in Cambridge to pursue independent and impactful research.
This programme emphasises interdisciplinary research, targeting innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership in sustainable development. We're looking for scholars who explore these areas from various academic and industry perspectives.
Placements last for for 6-12 months, starting in September or February, depending on your availability.
You'll have full access to ARU’s educational and research facilities, including libraries, laboratories, and collaborative spaces, providing a conducive environment for high-impact research.
You'll be assigned a key contact and be invited to participate in activities aligned with the Anglia Ruskin Enterprise Academy, which helps ARU students develop as entrepreneurs and freelancers.
In collaboration with CFCC, depending on the length of your stay we'll organise 1-3 key industry visits for you, allowing you to engage with leading UK industry professionals and organisations.
Knowledge exchange, collaboration and professional development are cornerstones of the programme. We'll therefore expect you to produce one working paper, and one research/professional paper related to innovation and entrepreneurship every six months. You'll also deliver one research/professional seminar, and conduct one lecture or workshop for ARU students during each six-month period.
You'll have a range of opportunities to network with ARU faculty, industry experts, and fellow researchers, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations and expanding professional networks.
