Suzana graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2016 with a First Class in BSc (Hons) Ophthalmic Dispensing with Practice Management. She has an extensive amount of experience working in the high end independent sector, particularly in designing bespoke frames. She returned to ARU in 2019 as a Lecturer Practitioner teaching both BSc (Hons) Ophthalmic Dispensing and FdSc Ophthalmic Dispensing students. Additionally, she is also an ABDO Tutor for the Level 6 FBDO Diploma course.

Background

Suzana qualified as a Dispensing Optician at ARU in 2016 with exceptional achievements, including being the prize winner for the “Best Overall Performance” in Final Ophthalmic Dispensing. Whilst completing her Pre-Reg year at an independent in Cambridge, the practice won the AOP award “Practice of the Year”, where she played a significant role towards this achievement.

Suzana creates bespoke frames that are perfectly fitted, flattering and tailored according to: the facial structure, skin tone, eyebrow tailoring, individuality & character, visual needs, lifestyle requirements and prescription complexity. She has a keen interest in the latest fashion trends and how this influences the optics industry.
