Stephanie has been working in education for 10 years, starting as a lecturer in further education, then moving to work across both further and higher education for several years, before moving to higher education full-time. She owns two horses: one she produced herself from a three-year-old and who will ultimately event, and a semi-retired ex-eventer who is on loan to a friend for hacking only.
Stephanie's undergraduate dissertation investigated the influence of pelvic asymmetry of the rider on weight distribution in the saddle, and continued to investigate asymmetry as part of her postgraduate thesis, focusing on the impact of induced rider asymmetry on equine limb kinematics. She has also assisted in a study on gaze analysis in the rider when jumping a course of jumps. She looks forward to continuing to work on various research projects throughout her career.
