Stefán has a distinguished career in both practice and academia. With extensive experience in the Far East and a research focus on notions of Identity, he guides students on a holistic journey towards futures in design.

Background

Stefán was born in India and grew up in Scotland. He graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martin's in Menswear Fashion and went on to complete a Masters at the Royal College of Art. Upon launching his eponymous menswear tailoring label he held a notable position in the British fashion industry, showcasing his collections with catwalks in London, Moscow and Italy. He has been a NewGen Men finalist three times.

For the last decade, Stefán has been based in Hong Kong, Indonesia and China, leading and developing fashion design programmes with a global perspective. His graduates have won prominent international design awards and have been featured in global industry press.
