Rebecca is a PhD Researcher specialising in adaptive and mainstream technology with a focus on user experience (UX), working with disabled musicians and producers to perform and compose music.
Rebecca has over 25 years' experience in music education, accessible music technology and music production. She has held the post of Head of Music in SEN at secondary and primary schools. She is a freelance consultant for organisations such as the British Society of Music Therapy, Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability, DEMELZA, and individual clients.
Rebecca's PhD used co-design with stroke survivors to adapt and modify a mainstream DDR rhythm game computer game for upper limb rehabilitation after stroke.
