Summary of Research

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an integration software for the entire functional unit of an organisation. It deploys an exceptional work flow and standardised work practice across organisations. The basis of this research is to change the conventional paper documentation and standalone software system in Nigeria with a redesigned ERP system accessible to small and medium enterprises in the country. As a result of business environment changing rapidly due to globalisation, the legacy business systems may not be flexible enough to adapt to these changes.

From the data collected so far in Nigeria, many IT systems are not adopted due to effectiveness and trust issues. Hence, employees prefer to stick to their old practice. This prominent challenge brought about the development of a re-designed system with in-built trust called ERP-Blockchain system.
