Mark started his career as a Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Builder, working as a Senior Estimator and Surveyor.

He has taught in both further and higher education and is now Acting Head of School, although he currently maintains his teaching responsibility in specialist Quantity Surveying areas.

Background

Mark seeks to use his previous professional experience in providing a realistic and stimulating educational experience and preparing students for a fruitful career in the built environment.

He seeks to maintain links between academia and professional practice in order to make sure that everything that is done within the School is realistic and at the cutting-edge of professional practice.
