Laura's key areas of expertise are strength and conditioning and nutrition. She has provided nutritional and strength conditioning advice to high performance and elite athletes including squash and golf professionals.

Background

Laura joined Writtle University as a further education lecturer in 2006 and on completion of an MSc and PGCE teaching qualification joined the HE sport team in 2010. Since, then she has taught a wide range of modules including psychology, coaching, exercise prescription, professional skills, nutrition and strength and condition.

Laura's current main teaching and research focus is within nutrition, health and well-being and strength and conditioning.

Research interests

The impact of supplementation such as Omega 3 on aspects of health, wellbeing, recovery and performance in females.
