Karen is an experienced lecturer whose expertise is overseas nursing and moving and handling with over 15 years experience in both specialities.



Karen is a registered adult nurse and teacher and has worked at Anglia Ruskin for the past 10 years. Prior to this she had a varied career in the NHS including elderly care and Accident and Emergency Nursing, as well as a 3 year secondment in HR as a recruitment and retention co-ordinator.

Karen teaches on both the pre- registration curriculum and CPD portfolio. At present she is working with a number of NHS Trusts who have employed nurses from outside the EU.
