Jacqui qualified as a Social Worker in 2001 and began working with adults and older people before joining Anglia Ruskin University as a Lecturer in 2013.
Jacqui worked as a social worker in the Fenland area and went on to manage a social work team in an integrated health and social care environment. At the same time, Jacqui became a lead practitioner for adult safeguarding, developing knowledge and expertise in this area underpinning her current teaching practices.
Jacqui then moved to an education and professional development role within a Community NHS Trust having responsibility for student placements and the professional development and education for the registrant workforce of 4,500 staff.
Jacqui teaches “Powers, Duties and Accountabilities” to student social workers as well as teaching communication and safeguarding on the BSc (Hons) Adult nursing course.
