Profile on ResearchGate
Holly gained her bachelors degree in Optometry from the University of Bradford in 2001, before completing her pre-registration training as an optometrist and working for several years for Boots Opticians.
Holly's PhD investigated the effect of age and accommodation on myopia progression in 14-21 year olds as part of the Cambridge Anti Myopia Study. She completed her PhD in 2010 and started a postdoctoral fellowship at our Vision and Eye Research Institute, on a systematic review of literature on blindness and visual impairment for the Vision Loss Expert Group of the Global Burden of Disease study.
Holly is currently undertaking research in the Visual Function and Physiology Research Group at ARU in the field of myopia. She's also Course Leader for our PGCert Contact Lens Optician.
