Habtom is an Associate Professor in our School of Engineering and the Built Environment. He has extensive experience of both working and teaching in the engineering industry.
Habtom holds a PhD in manufacturing simulation and performance optimisation from the University of Bath. He is a fully chartered engineer and a member of the UK Engineering Council. Habtom’s research interests include additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0, manufacturing simulation and optimisation. He has also worked as a consultant for various companies.
