Background

Before joining CEEUPS, Francesca gained professional services experience in both secondary and higher education, and within the charity sector. Francesca holds a PhD from the University of Essex, and her thesis expanded upon her interests in psychiatric disability studies.

Francesca's roles in education have given her an understanding of academic environments and needs. In the charity sector, she successfully secured crucial funding for projects and core costs, supporting a range of beneficiaries.

Francesca also holds voluntary positions with an online creative writing journal and her local Samaritans branch.
