A new security scheme and lightweight encryption algorithm for voice over wireless networks connectivity to internet.
The aim of Firas' research thesis is focusing on developing a cost effective security scheme for voice over wireless networks, and to design a new cryptosystem which would meet the requirements of a wireless environment, such as delays and energy consumption. Other area's of research that Firas is interested in include cybersecurity, cryptography, telecommunication power management, telecommunication security, voice communication and wireless sensor networks. Firas is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
