David is a paramedic with many years of experience. He maintains clinical practice with his work in  a GP practice  and with the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust.


David joined the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust in 1985 and worked as an operational Paramedic and Clinical Manager including working in the Trust training centres. During his employment David studied at University of East Anglia to gain a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree for the Caring Professions. Following a short break he then went on to study for an MSc in Health Sciences also at UEA. David spent three years working at University of Hertfordshire lecturing on the Paramedic programme. He has been a significant influence on the adoption and development of the paramedic course at Anglia Ruskin University.
