Background

After completing his BA in Architecture at the University of Westminster, Alex continued his studies gaining his MA in Architecture at the Royal College of Art. His thesis focused on material and making and their relationship to architectural practice – specifically, questioning why the implementation of digital fabrication is often reduced to purely a process, devoid of cultural and historical context. And how can established modes of craft inform emerging fabrication technologies?
