Alessandra's Twitter profile
Having run an events management company and working with a wealth of clients and across corporate, public sector and agency, Alessandra is bringing first-hand experience of the skills needed in events, marketing and entrepreneurship into the academic world and a large network of contacts that will benefit our students. In 2012 she founded the e-Luminate Cambridge Festival, the City’s light festival, so she is ideally positioned to advise on tourism drivers, marketing and fundraising and happy to create opportunities for the students to learn from.
With a multidisciplinary approach to research, Alessandra’s interests include slow tourism, entrepreneurial thinking applied to night time economy and tourism, policy and accessibility of light art festivals and events, reinventing cultural and community traditions in a modern key.
