University of Salford: Future of Smart Cities conference

The University of Salford, Manchester, will be hosting a Future of Smart Cities Conference on the 19 and 20 April 2016.

Speakers from government and industry will be at the event, presenting their views on how smart technology can be used to improve cities and contribute to the creation of a Northern Powerhouse. Topics covered will include the economic benefits of smart cities, and how smart technology can be used to improve city infrastructure, reduce cities’ environmental impact and prevent criminal activity.
