Research Councils UK (RCUK) have made an announcement on pathways to impact, reaffirming their commitment to requiring a 'clearly thought through and acceptable' Pathways to Impact statement as a condition of funding in the future.

The change will take effect after 1 April 2015 and, although this is not a huge change, it is a useful, clear outline of RCUK's expectations.

On a related note, a number of councils have also published their 2013-14 impact reports:

If you're an Anglia Ruskin University researcher and need assistance writing a Pathways to Impact statement, remember that the ARU Research Services team is always here to help.
