At the beginning of my first year at ARU, I had the chance to become a Digital Student Ambassador - or DSA for short. So... how was it?
To be completely honest I was hesitating when I had the opportunity to become a DSA. I thought that it would be another ordinary job. But now I have definitely changed my mind.
My time as a DSA was really great and I gained a lot of skills and knowledge that I will use in my later life. Now I realise that becoming a digital ambassador means you can meet new people from other courses, most of whom are phenomenal human beings. During this year as a DSA I met loads of people and I have built several new friendships.
Also, as a Digital Student Ambassador I have been asked to assist at several events, and I had a plethora of job opportunities. I'm really grateful that I had the chance to be a member of this amazing team and I hope that we collaborate again in the future.
Becoming a Digital Student Ambassador is just one way you can get involved and learn new skills at ARU. You can also volunteer, join a sports club, learn a language and much, much more. Check out what's on offer.
