Hello there *waves sheepishly*. I know it has been long, but boy did I underestimate how much time and commitment third year takes! Between trying to have a semblance of a social life, weekly Zumba classes, finishing coursework on time, a part-time job and starting lab work for my dissertation, I only get a couple of seconds to breathe!
I know what you’re thinking, but no, I’ve not just procrastinated and left my dissertation to deadline. As a January starter, my dissertation is due in December 2015, so really I’m doing alright on time… I think.
To help you catch up with what I’ve been up to, here is a picture summary of some fun things I’ve done!
King Charles – live @ the Portland Arms
Little Comets – live @ Cambridge Junction
McBusted @ Leeds First Direct Arena (don’t judge, my inner 12-year-old was so happy I can’t even explain!)
For the missing weeks, just assume I was drowning in coursework (we’ve been given six pieces of coursework this semester, and I’m still working on the last two). Exhibit A and B below.
It’s sort of ridiculous how quick this semester has flown by. On one hand, good riddance, but the end of this semester means there’s only one semester left between me having to become a ‘real’ adult. At this point I wish time would just freeze. Serious case of Senioritis right here! Hopefully I’ll have another, longer, blog post up soon. If there isn’t, just assume another mountain of work is trying to crush me.
