Course: BSc (Hons) Midwifery

Hi, my name is Laura. I am 23 years old and just coming up to the end of my first year studying BSc Midwifery at the Chelmsford campus. I am enjoying the course although it’s very demanding.

I am new to blogging and I hope that I discuss topics that are interesting to people, I am looking forward to this new way to express my views.

Midwifery is one of my two main passions in life, the other being cooking. Since I was little I had only ever wanted to be a chef and I achieved my goal a few years ago, but last year I felt it was time to explore my other passion. In my own time I like to go out for nice dinners with my boyfriend, watch romantic films and eat brownies, crisps, Dairy Milk and all things sweet! I also love to go to the theatre and enjoy musicals, with my favourite film being Billy Elliot. I hope my blogs make people smile and laugh, while being relatable for some of you. University is an interesting journey and I hope to be able to share it with you.
