Hi everyone, I’m Laura, a 20-year-old student midwife studying BSc (Hons) Midwifery in Chelmsford. I’m from East Grinstead in West Sussex. Being the first in my immediate family to go to university has made me extremely determined to work hard and do well for myself. Eventually I would like to become midwifery lecturer after being inspired by the lecturers I’ve had since September.

I have started doing some work as a Student Ambassador, so you may have spoken to me at midwifery interviews or at the Unifest day. Feel free to come and say hi if you see me!

Things I like are animals, going to the gym (just started going), meeting up with friends, music and travelling.
