School:School of Nursing and Midwifery
Course: BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing
Hi, I’m Kira and I am currently in my second year of studying Adult Nursing at the Chelmsford campus. I study here because the university and my placements have been a good driving distance from my house and I didn’t want to move away or commute too far. I also wanted to save money on rent and keep my car!
My course has been challenging at times but I have learnt so much and met so many amazing, talented people. My favourite part of the course has been my placement in a specialist wound clinic where I learnt lots about dressings and had the chance to be very hands-on. I also work as a Student Ambassador and Digital Media ambassador for my faculty which has allowed me to meet other students and also inform prospective students about the course.
