The British Council and the UK Science and Innovation Network have announced a call under the UK-Israel SYNERGY Programme.

Funding of between £4,500 and £8,500 is available to support a workshop encouraging collaboration between the two countries. The Programme will consider applications in the areas of:

  1. Nanoscience
  2. Neuroscience
  3. Agri Science
  4. Waters Science
  5. Cyber
  6. Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)

This is a rare opportunity to bring communities of researchers together, and the funders hope to establish long-term collaborations leading to a future where they have made 'Britain and Israel... leading partners in the priority sectors identified'.

Guidance for applicants is available through the website.

The application form is available here.

Deadline for applications: 6 April 2017, 12am (as the wording here is a little ambiguous, we advise you submit by 5 April 2017).
