Building PhD Research Bricks Workshops are devised and run by Cambridge School of Art postgraduate researchers Mary Jane Montgomerie House and Rebecca Hearle.
They are collaborative practice-based creative workshops for PhD students in all disciplines across ARU. They encourage connection, exchange and interaction, and help strengthen and integrate the University's postgraduate research community.
Participants bring pens and paint to express their PhD research on wooden bricks provided by the facilitators. Workshops took place in September and November 2021, and April 2022, with further sessions in the pipeline.
