In this one-hour webinar, Andrew Middleton will set out ten tips for making your online discussion activities work and explore ideas for putting them into practice.
For example, you'll consider ideas such as developing expectations, deciding on optimum group size, assigning group roles, designing good questions and stimuli, and the facilitator’s role and responsibility.
This session is part of the 'Bringing Canvas to Life' series and will focus on the detail and complements the webinar “Engaging students in discussion boards – 5 ways of developing effective learner engagement in Canvas.”
